This 19th-century ice house was once used to process locally caught fish. After sitting vacant for years, it was acquired by Main Street Champions Joe and Stephanie Wach. Working closely with Down East Preservation, they transformed the space into a thriving restaurant that employs 67 people and provides quality food and beverage in addition to weekly live music. The Wach’s also restored our retired Edenton Trolley to create an inviting outdoor area for residents and visitors to take advantage of the beautiful waterfront that defines Edenton.
